Care Instructions for Your Reusable Menstrual Pads

With proper care, your reusable pads will last for many years. Here are a few simple tips to preserve their absorption and softness.

Before First Use Wash your pads 2 to 3 times before using them for the first time. This activates the fibres and optimizes their absorption capacity.

After Use Rinse the pad in cold water as soon as possible, then place it in a soaking bag or a closed container until washing. Avoid soaking for more than 24 hours.

Washing

• Machine wash at 30–40°C with a gentle detergent, without fabric softener or bleach.
• Fabric softeners reduce the absorption capacity of natural fibres — it's best to avoid them.
• A delicate or cotton cycle works perfectly.

Drying Air drying is preferred. Sunlight has a natural whitening and disinfecting effect. A dryer can be used on low heat, but may reduce the lifespan of the product.

Stubborn Stains Rub with Marseille soap or apply baking soda before washing. Avoid hot water on fresh stains — it sets them.
